Beaux Jaxon (pronounced "Bo Jackson") is an American singer/songwriter living in Budapest. He was born in Los Angeles and raised on the East Coast in the NYC area, and the influence of the latter can be heard in his music. Beaux Jaxon has led a colorful life as a musician, most notably with the band Dalton Clay. Beaux played more than 200 shows with Dalton Clay in the NYC area between 1993 and 1997, including an appearance at the 1994 World Cup Finals at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
After Dalton Clay ("Clay" is Beaux's middle name) disbanded, Beaux signed with producer John King, owner of the renowned Chung King Studios in NYC. Chung King has recorded various Grammy winning artists such as David Bowie, The Fugees, Mary J. Blige, and a host of others.
In 1998 Beaux Jaxon moved to Budapest for a change of scenery and decided to stay. He recently split from his recording company in New York due to artistic differences, and took advantage of the skilled musicians and excellent facilities in Budapest to re-record his music and release it in Europe on independent label Jack Crow Records and Universal Music. Over the summer months the band was reorganized for the new recording session and subsequent performance schedule. The new members of the five-piece band, all Hungarian natives, give the band a unique and interesting flavor.
